Comdel combines a DC generator with an RF generator to create one compact, versatile power supply ideal for plasma, flat panel, IC, and storage media applications. The CDX 6000 offers ease of control, small physical size, and the ability to withstand large changes of load impedance without failure or premature foldback.

The DC section provides up to 2KW of programmable power, while the RF section can deliver up to 4 KW fixed frequency or variable frequencies ranging from 20KHz to 2 MHz, as well as an optional phase locked output eliminating the need for a matching network in many systems. 

Sharing a common cooling system and DC power source, the CDX 6000 simplifies facility requirements and reduces spare parts inventory.  Each section responds to completely separate remote control commands. 

The dual control board performs many functions, including:   Pulse-width power control; protection circuitry; system status indicators; power metering; remote interface; and protection circuitry.
