Expands Facility as Demand for Their Gloucester,
MassachusettsIn response to the unprecedented demand for RF power solutions,
Comdel, a leading manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) power supplies, is breaking ground
on a 30,000 square foot addition to their manufacturing facility in Gloucester,
Massachusetts. To enable our customers to stay on
the cutting edge of their technology we need to double our prototype short-run
capabilities, as well as our engineering design and applications testing areas, says
Ted Johnson, President and CEO of Comdel. We needed to grow our business in order to
satisfy the demands of our current customers and take on the challenges of delivering RF
power supplies to new markets. Through this expansion, Comdels
Production Area will also be enlarged with other areas being streamlined to more easily
transfer the latest test technology from the development arena to high-volume
manufacturing. The build-out plans will be done in two phases with the first phase
completed in May and the entire project scheduled for completion in mid-July.
