leader in reliable RF power supplies, today announced the appointment
of Jim Usher to Director of Business Development. In this newly created
position, Usher will manage Comdel's long-term strategic business
development plans, as well as overall sales, marketing and customer
relations operations. Usher brings more than 20 years of sales and technical experience in electronics and RF power supplies within the semiconductor industry. Previously, he served as president and chief operating officer of Busch Semiconductor Vacuum Group, Inc. and in 13 years with Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. he held positions including business unit director for the worldwide semiconductor market, director of worldwide sales, and managing director for the company's German and United Kingdom subsidiaries. Usher
has also held sales and marketing management positions with Spellman
High Voltage Electronics, Inc., and Motorola Communications and Electronics,
Inc. and served on the Board of Directors for Scientific Systems.
Jim Usher will be reporting directly to Ted Johnson, President and
CEO of Comdel.
